I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Applied Linguistics and Technology (ALT) program at Iowa State University, where I teach Spanish for the World Languages and Cultures (WLC) department. My dissertation is a multiple case study of two blended foreign language writing courses. Using ethnographic methods and qualitative discourse analysis, I examine technology and tasks to show how stakeholders develop their academic discourse in Spanish.
